He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cyr and Anna Cyr (DeMerchant); his wife Donna Rose Cyr; and his siblings, Louis "Eddie", Earle, Clarence Cyr, Madeline Reynolds, Phyllis Murphy, Yvonne Lovelette, Elizabeth Jenkins and Margaret Parker.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jeffrey Royal; his children, Kevin Cyr (Ray Cebula) of Santa Fe, Joseph Cyr (Charity) of Houlton and Deborah Stone-Gove (Dana Busler) of Wiscasset; his grandchildren, Emily Folsom (Chris) of Wiscasset, Catherine Cyr of Wilmington, Delaware, Christopher Cyr of Providence, R. I., Cameron Cyr of Yuma, Arizona, Isabel Cyr of Houlton and Olivia Cyr of Houlton; his great grandchild Everett Folsom of Wiscasset; and his sisters, Marie Jenkins of Houlton and Janice "Ducky" Lovelette of Live Oak, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
