She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Cogswell and Myrtle Cogswell (Weaver); and her siblings, Geraldine Dunn, Norma Bates and William Cogswell.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Wallace (Carlton) of Hodgdon, Roger Byron (Laurie) of Houlton and Jeff Turcotte; her grandchildren, Peter Bates (Monica) of Houlton, Leah Rarick (Josh) of Vandalia, OH, James Bates (Tiffany) of Houlton, Caleb Byron (Hannah) of Tulare, CA, Elayna Byron of Houlton and Lydia Byron of Cedarville, OH; and her great grandchildren, Owen Beaulieu, Beckham Bates, Bentley Bates, Capri Bates, Lincoln Rarick and Baby Boy Rarick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Houlton Wesleyan Church (18 Kelleran St, Houlton, ME 04730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Linneus Cemetery - Linneus. A reception was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Houlton Wesleyan Church (18 Kelleran St, Houlton, ME 04730).
