He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Butler and Alice Butler (Peoples); and his siblings, Owen Butler and Sara Swett. He is survived by: his wife Vera Butler (Muir); his children, Deanna Henderson, Alvin (Karen Butler), Bradford (Dee Butler), Kimberley (Michael Folsom), Paul (Deb Howard), Bill (Trisha Howard), Valerie Fitzpatrick and Robin (Hadley Boutilier); his grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Adrienne, Amelia, Justin, Ariel, Cassie, Makala, Kianna, Brady, Corey, Kayla, Jessica, Tyler, Brittany and Benjamin; his siblings, Joan Butler, Carole, Ron Hovis, Virginia and Gary Gray; and his uncle Owen.
