She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lilley and Flossie Lilley (Grieve); her husband Herbert Mathers; and her siblings, Octavia Lilley, Mabel McNelly, Della Clark, Jack, William, Gordon, Burns, Roger and Murray Lilley.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Scott Bates; her children, Bill (Betty Mathers), Mike (Jolayne Mathers) and Cathy (Scott Bates); her grandchildren, Bill (Shannon Mathers), Kevin (Natashia Mathers), Jill Mathers, Samual Mathers, Lucas Mathers, Caleb Mathers and Samantha (Jake Willett); her great grandchildren, Jackson Mathers (Erin Lake), Kassidy Mathers (Keaton Lear), Suzy Mathers, Barrett Mathers, Silas Mathers and Alex Willett; her great great grandchild Mason Mathers; and her close friend Linda King.
