He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Steeves and Erma Steeves; his son Randy; his brother Frank Steeves; his sister-in-law Ann Steeves; and also, Ruth Horton, Annie Horton and Vernal Horton.
He is survived by: his wives, Bea and Beatrice Steeves; and his children, Susan (Charles Pattershall) of Augusta, Elaine Steeves of Bangor, Michael Steeves (Cheryl) of Weston, Pamela (Dean Sidell) of Gloucester, MA and Sandra (Tim Morris) of Houlton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
