She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin H. Lindsay and Hazel Lindsay (Bethune); her husbands, Robert Edgecomb and Hervey Clay; and her brother-in-law E. Lawson Helsor.
She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Madore of Albuquerque, N. M.; her siblings, Roderick Lindsay (Elizabeth) of Linneus, David Lindsay (Deb) of West Enfield and Janice Helsor of Lincoln; her half-sister Mary Ann Morrison (Donnie) of Millinocket; and her nieces and nephews, Gina Lindsay, Katie Morrison, Mark Helsor (Lorrie), Wade Helsor (Heather), Ryan Lindsay and Roddy Gene II Lindsay (Jenna).
Jane's biggest hobby was knitting and crocheting, making hundreds of mittens, hats, scarves, baby blankets, and baby sets, donating much of her work for children in need.
