He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tingley and Hazel Tingley (Hutchinson); and his son Geoffery. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tingley (Ladd); his children, Greg Tingley (Kimberly), Gerry Tingley and Gillian (David Cram); his grandchildren, Melissa, Joshua, Cameron, Macy, Trey, Emilee, Lucas, Howard and Allison; his great grandchildren, Owen, Zayla and Sebastian; and his sister June Malone. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Due to allergies, the family requests no flowers.
