Emma E. Wells Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma E. Wells (Houlton, Maine), who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Cummings and Dora Corbet Cummings; her husband David McNabb Wells; and her children, Robert George Wells and Mary Louise Wells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Ann Seamans (Shawn) of Holden, Maine and Dora Jane Carlberg of Rochester, NH; her brothers, Robert Cummings of Islip, NY, Donald Raymond (Cathy) of Doltewah, TN and Frank (Gloria) of Bristol, CT; and her granddaughters, Jacqueline Seamans and Elizabeth Wells. She is also survived by her family and her many, many, friends.
Betty made and donated hats and afghans to our Emergency Response firefighters and police department to provide comfort and warmth to those experiencing crises in any capacity as well as for the homeless.
