In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas Vaughn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas Vaughn farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vaughn Thompson and Jean Thompson (Estabrook); his brother Audbur Thompson (Ann) of Boxborough, Massachusetts; his nephews, Richard Thompson (Carola) of Columbus and Micah Thompson (Jen) of Hinesburg, Vermont; and his niece Liz Dolham (Scott) of Bolton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Military Street Baptist Church (307 Military St, Houlton, ME 04730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
