He is survived by: his son Douglas Arden, Jr. (Jody) of Hodgdon; his grandchildren, Tayler, Jordyn, Madisyn and Logan; his stepchildren, Ken and Diane McAfee of Biddeford; his stepgrandchildren, Erin and Drake; his stepchildren, Chad and Christa McAfee of Woodbury; his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Mercedes, Aaron, Aeden and Christian; his stepchildren, Melissa and Noah Winslow of Mapleton; his stepgranddaughters, Elizabeth, Madeline and Violet; his stepchildren, Mandy and Mark Swallow of Houlton; his stepgrandchild Abby; his siblings, Judy, Joan, Marion, Marilyn, Roger and Tommy; and also Xavier. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
