Dorothy Leighton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Leighton (Houlton, Maine), who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Nightingale and Evelyn Nightingale; her sisters, Gilmay and Mildred; her daughter Lauri; and her son-in-law Jay Doescher.
She is survived by: her son Andy Leighton (Laurie); her grandchildren, Sarah Carr, Ryan (Sara Doescher) and Matt Leighton; and her siblings, Patsy, Bobby, Milford and Gary Nightingale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
