He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearley G. Malone and Gertha O. Malone (Main); his sons, Pearley and Steven; his siblings, Bette Shields, Richard and Ronald O'Hara; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Hazel Tingley.
He is survived by: his wife June Malone (Tingley) of Ludlow; his children, Darrell Jr. (Tina) of Oakfield and Kara Wright (Randy) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Jakob Malone of Oakfield, Reiley and Kennady Wright of Ludlow; his great grandchild Bradey Malone of Oakfield; his nephews, Jerry, Gene and David Shields; his brother Gary; and his sister-in-law Nancy Tingley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family respectfully requests that all COVID-19 protocols be followed at the service, including masking and social distancing.
