She was predeceased by: her parents, George Eben and Sadie Ellis (Brewer); and her husband David Cowperthwaite. She is survived by: her children, Dexter Cowperthwaite (Emily) of Delaware, Tammy Ross (Mitch) of Mars Hill and Laurie Bartlett (David) of Littleton; her grandchildren, Rebecca Smith (Jessie) of Littleton, ME, Douglas Cowperthwaite (Gabrielle) of Bridgewater, ME, Kristin Shaw (Jebb) of Mars Hill, ME, Stephanie Gray (Joshua) of Lincoln, ME, Adam Ross (Laura) of Midlothian, TX, Daniel Bartlett of Orlando, FL, Dustin Cowperthwaite (Rebecca) of New Limerick, ME, Jonathan Bartlett of Monticello, ME and Frederick Bartlett of Bangor, ME; her stepgrandsons, Alex and Sam Parsons; and her sister Laura Lemar of Corinna. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
