He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd Sr. Rockwell and Joann Rockwell (Morton); his wife Cindy Rockwell (Gravel) of Lincoln; his children, Boyd C Rockwell III of Lincoln, Jennifer Lowery (Daniel) of Veazie and Kristina Rockwell of Lincoln; his grandson Tobias; and his siblings, Tammy Webb (Dennis) of Island Falls, Jennie Rockwell of North Carolina, Gerald Rockwell (Jennifer) of Bowdin, Debbie McLaughlin (Craig) of Dyer Brook, Patti McGary of Monticello, Doug Rockwell (Donna) of New Limerick and Cindy Roussel (Darcy) of Princeton. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
