He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa H. Harvey Sr. and Sadie Harvey (Syphers); and his siblings, Irene Smith, Newty Chambers, Jason Harvey and Joyce Carrier.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Harvey (Taylor); his children, Debbie Williams (Conners) and Gregory Harvey (Linda) of East Hartford, CT; his sisters-in-law, June Harvey of Lebanon, CT and Barbara Fitzpatrick of Gulf Breeze, FL; his grandchildren, Gregory H. Harvey II of North Carolina, Jason Williams of Discovery Bay, CA, Joshua Williams of Port Vincent, LA, Sean Harvey of New Bedford, MA and Rebecca Harvey of Los Angeles, CA; and his great grandchild Amelia Williams of Rocklin, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
