She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gardiner and Astrid Gardiner (Carstensen); her sons-in-law, Stephen Smith and Paul Romanelli; and her brothers, James, Ted, Carl, Earl and John.
She is survived by: her former husband Eldred Folsom; her husband John Hogan; her daughters, Clarice Scotton (David) of Cape Elizabeth, Carlene Romanelli of Houlton, Astrid Smith (Erv MacDonald) of Houlton and Kathy Anderson (Mark) of Houlton; and her sister-in-law Doris Gardiner. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren.
