It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Phillip Johnson Sr. of Hope, Maine, born in Dedham, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Joseph Johnson Sr. and Anna Johnson (Brandalo); and his brother Lawrence Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty I. Johnson; his children, Robert P. Johnson Jr. of Hope, Irene Johnson of Swanville, Marty Johnson of Searsmont, Paula Johnson of Camden, Anna Johnson (Scott Underhill) of Rockport and Joseph Johnson of Lincolnville; his grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Perrin Ganter (Sherin), Nathaniel Johnson, Justin Degreenia and Alexis Ames; his great grandchildren, Alana, Trinity and Jaclyn; and his siblings, Edmund J. Johnson Jr. (Maureen) of Wrentham, MA, Phyllis Brousaides of Warpole, MA and Dorothy Johnson-Rahwan (Steve Rahwan) of Norton, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
