He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. DeVou, Jr. and Bernice DeVou (Grant); his wife Helene (Titus); his daughter Sherry Carll; and his siblings, John W., Roy F., Harold M., Robert M., Floyd L., Clara A. Bowring (DeVou), Joyce Rinaldi, Grace DeVou and Edna DeVou.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Martin, Maureen DeVou, Rochelle Prince, Darcel DeVou and James DeVou (Rick); and his grandchildren, Chris Recek, Jennifer DeVou, Amanda Knittweis, Shawn Carll and Lori Deshaies. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
