He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gifford and Elizabeth Gifford (Mayo). He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his stepchildren, Matt Lecher (Valerie) of Belfast, Maine and Melanie Pagurko (John) of Whitefield, Maine; and his brother David Gifford (Shirley) of Skowhegan, Maine.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His contributions to many band concerts, parades, pep bands and school musicals are memorable to many.
