Mary Root Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, Mary Root (Hiram, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Short and Ella Short; her husband Rev. Jerrold Root Sr.; her sons, Jerrold Root Jr. of Porter, Joseph Root of Porter, Jim Root of New York and Joshua Root of Porter; and her brother Jim Short (Judy Short).
