He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E Nichols and Anna J Nichols; his former wife Barbara Nichols; and his siblings, Gilbert Nichols, Edward Nichols, Ruth Landon and Alice Loring.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Nichols; his children, Daniel Nichols of Hartland, ME, Cindy Wright of Middleton, OH, Timothy Nichols of Petersburg, AK, Douglas Nichols (Toni) of Plymouth, ME and Kathi Wing (Tony) of Wellington, ME.; and his stepchildren, Amy Macdonald (Jason) of Athens, ME, Robin Nelson (Todd) of Canton, ME, Karen Wilson (David) of Saranac Lake, NY and Bradley Nelson of Hartland, ME. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
