It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elbridge Dowling of Harrington, Maine, born in East Machias, Maine, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dowling and Ivadell Huntley Dowling; and his wife Verna Stevens. He is survived by: his children, Hazel (Bernie Hammond) of Columbia Falls and Jamie (Kathy Dowling) of Harrington; his grandchildren, Sherri Dowling Tracey (Jason) of Gouldsboro, Terry Hammond Fitzhenry (Allan) of Cutler and Tom Dowling (Tina) of Newburgh; his great grandchildren, Emma Fitzhenry, Ava Dowling, Amy Cox, Abby Fitzhenry and Addie Dowling; his sister Amy Graham of Marion; his close friend Laura Brown of Machias; his friend Paul Cox of Dennysville; and also, Verna and Alzheimers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
