He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Dorrity and Mary Dorrity (Rowsell); his son William "Bill" Dorrity, III; and his grandson Scott Dorrity. He is survived by: his wife Alise; his daughter Carolyn Dorrity (Jay Muth); his grandchildren, Heidi Taylor, Rockland, Tom Dorrity, Allyson Dorrity of Hampden, Casey Dorrity (Abby) of Winterport and Zach Dorrity (Rebekah) of Williamstown, KY.; and his great grandchildren, AnnaJoy, Olivia, Mason Dorrity of Winterport and Addison Dorrity of Kentucky.
The military honors was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
