He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Spaulding and Effie Spaulding; his wife Dorothy LaFontaine (Shorette); his daughters, Barbara Eckerd and Jo-Anne Peddicord; his great grandchild Brittany; and his siblings, Owen, Budd and Gloria.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Sekera (Joseph); his grandchildren, J. Todd, Nichole, Andrew, Kimberly, Jennifer, Kristen, Elizabeth, Meghan and Michael; his great grandchildren, Randy, Bridget, Julie, Amy and Sherri; his niece Jane Fraser; his nephews, Leon, Gary Spaulding and Christopher Bate; his friends, Royce and Joyce Wheeler; and also, Lori, Eric and Rosemarie. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
