Raymond Pelletier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Pelletier of Hampden, Maine, born in Berlin, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Pelletier and Sadie Pelletier (Girard); and his siblings, Dick, Norman Pelletier, Irene Bowdoin and Doris Sylvestre.
He is survived by: his sons, Nick Pelletier of Kennebunk, ME and Eric Pelletier of New York, NY; his former wife Cheryl Pelletier (Stanton) of Bangor, ME; his brothers, Gary and Bob Pelletier; his nieces and nephews, Mark, Peter, Craig Sylvestre and Jody Lariviere; and his pet Max.
He was an integral member of the UMaine community for over thirty years and was celebrated for his contributions to the fields of Modern Languages, French, Francophone.
