It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Veronica Smith of Hampden, Maine, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Patrick Kane and Veronica Kane (Arsenault); her siblings, Fred, Mary (Rooney), Thomas and William; her husband Paul Kenneth Smith; her daughter Paula Jane Williams; and her sons-in-law, Bill MacDonald and Dean Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn MacDonald, Thomas Smith (Brenda), Margaret Craig, Veronica White (Terry), Gregory Smith (Rae Anne), Kathleen Novosad (Timothy) and Denise Jones (Roger); her grandchildren, Tina Autry (Melissa Sullivan), Michelle Smith Archambault (Tim), Thomas Smith, Matthew Smith (Angela), Justin Smith (Jessie Soder), Casey Craig Commander, Shawnna Smith, Jeremy White (Allyson), Jeffrey White, Annie Smith (Matthew Parsons), Shelby Novosad Petty (Drew), Kelsey Novosad Leon (Kris), Veronica Novosad, Margaret Jones and Gregory Jones; her friends, Ralph and Peggy Holyoke; and her cousin Katherine Smith. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
