He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Frey (Blackwell) and Francis Frey; his son Randy; his granddaughter Laura Frey; and his siblings, Paul, Mary, Gus and Florence.
He is survived by: his spouse Winona Rumery; and his children, David (Sandi Frey), Sheila (Hugh Cole), Victoria (Roger Davis) and Dennis (Linda Frey). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
John loved all animals and with that in mind, donations may be made in his memory to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor.
