It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Veinote (Hampden, Maine), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gene leaves behind.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hampden Chapel of Brookings-Smith (45 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Hampden Chapel of Brookings-Smith (45 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444).
