It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn A. Clisham of Hampden, Maine, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina Anderson and Carlton Anderson; her siblings, Harold of Stockholm, Winfred of Cocoa Beach, FL., Perley of Zephyrhills, FL., Mallet "Andy" of Pittsburgh, NH, Kennenth of Anchorage, AK, Signe Olivenbaum of New Sweden, ME, Hazel Brunelle of Worcester, MA, Bernice Hedman of Titusville, FL., Inez McNabb of Mt. Dora, FL, Sylvia Nylund of Allentown, PA and Warrena Anderson of Stockholm; her sister-in-law Mary Agnes Clisham of Bangor; her daughter Connie Marie; and also, John of Hampden, Dorothy Clisham (Babcock) of Hampden, William J. of Hampden and Faye Clisham, RN (Flye) of Hampden.
She is survived by: her husband James J. Clisham; her children, James R. and Elizabeth L.; her son-in-law Glenn W. Simpson of Hermon, ME; and her grandson Wyman G Simpson of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith (45 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Donations to the Stockholm Society will be used in the Educational field to honor Evelyn's years of teaching and donations to the Hampden Historical Society will be used for the Hannibal Hamlin Law Office.
