He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Lou Folio; and his child Gloria Mallet. He is survived by: his children, Michael Burd, Steven Burd, David Burd and Elizabeth Fertig-Burd; and his former wife Joanna Leavitt Burd of Hallowell, ME. He is also survived by great grandchildren, extended family and special friends.
