She is survived by: her husband George; her brother John Purnell (Myrle) of Norfolk; her children, Richard (Ann Falkenham) of Chatham, N. H. and Karen (William Rogers) of Fayette; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Christopher, Brittany, Jeffrey and Jenny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maine General Hospice, Augusta, ME or to the Union Baptist Church, Mystic, CT.
