It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Moriarty (Hallowell, Maine), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 3, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent James Edward Moriarty; his child James M. Moriarty (Alicia M.); his grandchildren, Evan J. Moriarty, Aaron A. Moriarty, Sophia E. Moriarty, Jennifer A. Connolly (Bryan W. Connolly) of Bethany, CT, Brett W. Connolly, Megan B. Connolly and Laura K. Moriarty of Rumford, ME; his children, Ash R. Barry and Liam R. Barry; and his siblings, William "Bill" Moriarty (Jan) of Louisville, KY and Elizabeth "Betsy" Greaney (Eugene "Gino") of South Hadley, MA.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended family.
Although Jim did not suffer from Alzheimer's disease, he would appreciate that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011, or at http://www.alz.org in his memory.
