It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmela Palmieri Greene of Hallowell, Maine, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Greene of East Madison; her granddaughter Nikki Grayling; and her siblings, Christopher, Michael, John, Mary Laury and Frances Antoncich.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kayleigh, Noah, Micah, Madeline, Graysen, Olivia, Sterling, Sophie and Hendrix; her great great grandchild Evander; her daughter Becky Greene (Peter Grant) of Waterville; her grandchildren, Daniel (Sue Palakawong) of Sidney, Garry (Chris) of Saco, Allen (Janice) of Woolwich, Vincent (Julie Foster) of Brunswick, Richard Greene, Melissa Young (Greene), Jonathan Greene, Nathan Greene, Joseph Greene and Jasmin Greene; her stepgrandson Brandon Grant; and her niece Sue Palmieri.
Mimi remained self-sufficient in her in-law apartment until 2020 when she entered assisted living in Hallowell during Covid-restricted visitations.
