She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Richards and Violet L. Richards (Mayo); her husband Robert Elsemore Sr.; her sons, Richard "Big Rock" Elsemore Sr., Robert Elsemore Jr. and Dana Elsemore; her brother Jerome Richards; her son-in-law Dennis Lavigne; and her grandson Anthony Lavigne.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Lavigne; her close friend Dan Hughes; her brother James Richards (Ruth); her grandchildren, Richard Elsemore Jr. (Stephanie), Meuriella Hall (Jim), Jerry Elsemore (Jessica), Ashley Nelson (Eric), Tasha Duval (Jason) and Sarah Lavigne; and her daughters-in-law, Marlene Peat and Karen Cole. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
