She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfield Ryder and Freda Ryder (Beckwith); her husband Harry Genest; her sister Vella Crossman; her brother-in-law Lloyd Crossman; her sister Norma Hanson; her brother-in-law Ted Hanson; her brother C. W. "Bub" Ryder; her siblings-in-law, Virginia Genest Carr and Raymond Carr; and her nephews, Robert Ryder and Dana Ronco.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Donna Hamilton Ryder; and her nieces and nephews, Chuck (Betty), John (Barbara), Brian Crossman (Jana), Scott Hanson, Terry Hanson Boone, Michael Ryder (Megan), Raylene Carr (Michael) and Doug Ronco (Connie).
