She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Ethel Hanson Adkins and Leslie Adkins; her sister Natalie Adkins Parsons (Walter F. "Bob"); her grandfather John; her sons, John H. (Kristine) and Mark L. (Robyn); her grandsons, Matthew (Regina) and Ian (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Michael. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.
