He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Marsh Stanhope and Elizabeth Smith Stanhope. He is survived by: his wife Elaine "Laney" Stanhope of Tampa, Florida; his son Kevin J. Stanhope of Gray, Maine; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Roy; his grandchildren, Asher Stanhope and Kullen Roy; and his sibling Betty-Jane Meader of Waterville. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cherished in-laws.
