He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Clark Henderson and Beatrice Louise Harris; and his siblings, Merle Bishop, Ruth Ann Peterson, Jeanette Bolton, Audrey Wall, Clark Henderson and Linda Mallard.
He is survived by: his son Michael Charles Henderson of Gray; his stepdaughter Lori Martin of Gorham, Maine.; his former wife Linda K. Henderson of Pensacola; his stepchildren, Christine Niemann Dillard of Pensacola and Michael Robert Niemann of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his nephews, Kenney Bishop, Edward Boatright, Robin Wall (Lynne Kaschak), Charles Wall (Lisa Kilgore), Allan Henderson and Steve Henderson (Denise Smith).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA in remembrance of Charles and his lifelong love for animals.
