It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland C. Gendreau of Grand Isle, Maine, born in Saint David, Maine, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Gendreau and Agathe Gendreau (Chasse); and his brothers, Charles and Joel Gendreau. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie (Picard) of Grand Isle; his children, Debbie, Cathy and Scott; his son-in-law Rob Sifuentes; his grandchild-in-law Ryan of Kennebunkport; his daughter-in-law Gisele; his grandson-in-law Brandon (Emily); his siblings, Ronaldo Gendreau (Theresa) of Madawaska, Jacqueline Fortin of Lille, Claude Gendreau (Claudette) of Grand Isle and Marcel Gendreau (Jeanne) of St. David; and also, Jeff Chasse, Thara, Ariana, Janelle, Summer of Madawaska, Jack and Micaela (Jordan Treadwell) of Brewer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Aroostook House of Comfort or Mizpah.
