He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Dumond and Emily Dumond (Morin); and his siblings, Cecile Gervais, Antoinette Gervais, Roy Dumond, Reynald Dumond, Aline Bernier and Kathleen Michaud.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Dumond (Cheevers) of Grand Isle; his children, Scott Gervais (Mary) of Frenchville, Megan Fongemie (Darrel) of St. David, Morgan Cyr (Dennis) of Grand Isle and Britny Girard (Gabriel) of St. David; his grandchildren, Olivia Chamberland (Nate), Spencer Gervais, Chloe Dumond, Jake Fongemie, Darcie Fongemie, Dylan Dionne, Mathieu Girard, Mason Cyr, Alaina Girard, Ashlyn Cyr and Levi Fongemie; and his siblings, Noella Bernier, Jerry Dumond (Lisa) and Shirley Cyr (Cliff). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
