He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Grover and Hazel M. Grover (Branch); his wife Marie A. Grover (Young); and his siblings, Arthur Grover of Standish, Maine, James Grover of Buxton, Maine, Jane Folmer of Holden, Maine and Francis Grover of Florida.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Lawrence Young; his grandson Benjamin Grover (Rebekah); his children, Sherrie (Allen Hersom) of Edgecomb, Maine, Joseph R. Grover, Jr. (Pamela) of Media, Pennsylvania and Lesli (Jason Lee) of Ellsworth, Maine; and his siblings, Marie DeSalle of Scarborough, Maine, Patricia (Lawrence Young) of Hancock, Maine, Irene McLellan of Killeen, Texas, Robert Grover (Doris) of Sevierville, Tennessee and Paul Grover of San Bernardino, California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, a mask and social distancing will be required.
