It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winifred Jean Slocum of Gorham, Maine, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anne Young and Thomas Young; her children, Philip, Phil, Jen and Nate; her sister Margaret Mathews; and her children, Linda Barker, Richard Slocum, Jennifer Thayer and Nathan Slocum. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Gorham House Oxford Activities Fund in honor of Winnie Slocum.
