She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Wills and Ruth Wills (Moody); and her sisters, Joan Mouton and Robin Scott. She is survived by: her husband George R. Swain; her children, Terryll Ann (Judith) of Windham, ME and Gregory Andrew (Bernadette) of Gorham, ME; her sister Betsy Wills of Exeter, NH; her grandchildren, Veronica Swain (Dave) of Easton, CT, Ashley Locke (Damon Locke) of Riverside, MO and Robert Swain (Jennifer) of Wells, ME.; her great grandchildren, Violet Selzer-Swain, Caroline, Lorelai Locke, Gemma, Logan, Lena and Everly Swain; her nephews, Kenneth Risch (Janet) and Hans Risch (Tammy); her great-nieces, Naomi Risch and Cassie Rowe; and her brother-in-law Douglas Scott. She is also survived by cousins and friends.

“Shirley was so many things to my family and myself. Helpful, supportive, wonderful neighbor, surrogate mom when hanging out with Terry and my third grade teacher who used her esp teacher skills to get me on the path of enjoying reading. So sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with George, Terry, Andy and the rest of her family. Rest in peace, Shirley. William and Coleen Wagner Plummer”
