He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Dorr and Virginia Dorr. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughter Melinda Lanzo; his stepdaughters, Meredith Carbone, Amy Brahan and Christine Bennett; and his grandchildren, William, Russell, Marisa, Gina, Christopher, Sydnie, Andrew, Jason and Zachary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Maine Audubon, an organization which was near and dear to his heart.
