She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Forrest and Nancy Dickinson (Ballou) of Biddeford; her former husband George Weimer, Sr.; her children, Karen Varney (Thomas) of Gorham, Mark Weimer of Bangor and Brian Weimer (Caroline) of McLean, Virgina; her granddaughter Chelsea Tarr (Jason); her children, Kelly Beckett (Cody), Matthew Weimer, Patrick Weimer, Abigail Weimer, Adam Weimer, Charlotte Weimer and Lillian Weimer; her daughter-in-law Trish Weimer McLellan; her siblings, Dolly Dickinson of Montecito, Charles Dickinson, III (Patty) of Scarborough and John Dickinson (Tammy) of Scarborough; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucas Tarr and Ellsworth James; and her son George Weimer.
In lieu of flowers, Rita wished for contributions to be made to her favorite charity, Samaritan's Purse.
