He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Guy Barden and Eva Gladys Barden; his brother Hubert; his niece Deborah Mathews; and his sister Beverly (Fuller).
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Elizabeth Preble; his children, Michael, Gregory and Terrilynn; his grandchildren, Farrah Frager, Sommer Barden, Jen Weaver, Christyn Dubreuil, Michael Barden III, Brandon Barden, Deanna Tarbox, Camden Barden, Alyssa Barden and Sierra Barden; his great grandchildren, Nichole Barden, Mia Barden, Michael Brown, Hanna Pitkin, Fynnyck Barden, Eliana Tarbox, Killian Armington, Nicholas Barden, Justin Barden, Jorden Rugg, Lily Rugg and Travis Barden; his great great grandchild Jared Barden; and his nieces, Patti Marsh, Robin Torrey and Kathryn Fuller.
