He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Spaulding and Laurette Spaulding (Daupinais); and his brothers, Roger, Ronny and Donald.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae; his son Dean (Tanya); his grandchildren, Dakota and John-Michael; his stepchildren, Debra, Rick, Dennis, Shirley and Jeff; and his siblings, Mike, Norman and Sue.
