He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aldolph Gonya and Gertrude Donnelly Gonya; his spouse Ruth Morrison Gonya of Millinocket; his children, Paula Gonya, Susan O'Brien (Randy) of Gorham and Paul, Jr. (Wayne Whitney) of Clearwater, FL.; his granddaughters, Erin of Gorham, Caitlin of Gorham, Megan of Gorham and Shannon O'Brien of Gorham; his great grandchildren, Madison, Jack, Emily, Travis and Paige; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Kovalcik, Harry Morrison (Tina, Frank Morrison) and Gary Morrison (Billee); his nephew Robert Gonya Jr.; his nieces, Judy Leet (Bob) of Millinocket and Margaret Kidd of Gainesville, VA; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Hatfield and Robert Gonya.
