It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Dyer Jr. of Gorham, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Sr. Dyer and Hilda Dyer (Nystrom); and his siblings, John Dyer and Pearl Hayward. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Jeannette Gallagher; his children, Christine, Kelly and Richard (Heidi Jardine Dyer) of Scarborough; his grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson, Victoria Robertson, Eric Pemberton, Austin Pemberton and Nolan Dyer; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Welch and Lucas Yankowsky.
