Whitten (Gorham, Maine), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Albert E. and Caroline A. Whitten (Steere); and his wife Doris Whitten of Gorham. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Judith A. Caouette, Old and Alan A. Mann. He is also survived by 18 step-grandchildren, 26 step-great-grandchildren and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurice's name may be given to the University of Southern Maine for scholarships.
